About Foster Greatness
Our platform was originally designed for those who have aged out of foster care. We noticed that far too many young adults are placed in a position with no support or resource access once they have "aged out" of the foster system.
We are fighting this process by creating a community where no one ages out and individuals have continued support to find resources they need to succeed.
🎯 Our Mission
To co-create a space with people impacted by the foster system where empowerment, healing, and community are front and center.
👁 Our Vision
A world where every person who has lived through the foster system feels seen, supported, and unstoppable.

Our Founding Story
At the heart of Doing Good Works (DGW) lies a simple but powerful belief: business can and should be a force for good.
Doing Good Works began in 2015 to help businesses succeed while supporting foster youth. We saw the challenges they face after leaving care and aimed to give them skills, tools, and confidence to reach their potential.
Co-founders Scott Henderson and Jordan Bartlett started by creating steady jobs for foster youth. But they soon realized foster youth also need belonging and community.
DGW Branded (which generates income) and Foster Greatness (which provides programs) work together as one mission. DGW Branded’s profits fund Foster Greatness’s programs, offering foster youth the support and community they need to thrive. Foster Greatness exists because of DGW Branded, and together, they create a cycle of impact and purpose.
How Foster Greatness & DGW Branded Work Together
✨ DGW Branded is more than a funding source – we're storytellers, connecting clients to the real impact of their purchases.
When businesses choose DGW Branded, they're not just buying merchandise; they're investing in scholarships, job training, and lifelong support systems.
DGW Branded: The Revenue Engine
DGW Branded isn’t just a merchandise company—it’s the core of Foster Greatness. Every product sold supports the movement. Profits from DGW Branded go straight to funding Foster Greatness’ programs.
Foster Greatness: The Impact Arm
Every product sold supports programs that provide foster youth with resources, community, and opportunities. We help them share their stories, build digital media skills, and use their voices to inspire change.
